Life changes are as good a reason as any to start a blog, right? Now that my dear wife has a
blog, this will give me a forum to defend myself, if nothing else.
As the title suggests, the life change in focus here is the addition to our household over the last month of not one, but two, dogs. And we're not talking little dust mops here, these two are horses in the making. Both fullbred newfoundlands, they will be between 120 and 150 pounds, and stand 25 to 28 inches high, when fully grown (about 2-1/2 years from now). Suki, the female, weighs in at 33 pounds, while her brother Skye is 28-1/2 pounds. At 14 weeks of age, they're already bigger than any other dog I've ever owned.
Now, if I can just get that dog house done.....
